Induction - Chicken Run - Group Work

Image
Group project, following a brief: a structure that can hold an egg and allow it to travel freely from A to B. Our aim for this group project was to create a chicken run structure that worked efficiently but also looked visually interesting. We started off by looking at the materials that were available and creating a small plan of how those materials will work together, and, different design ideas. Induction Drawing Experiment - First Day

Image
Image 1 - I was drawn to this section as I liked the similar hue of colour between the pink boot that I produced next to the yellow one; the colours combined together make for an interesting colour pallet. My observation drawing of my hand layered over the top adds an interesting texture to the drawing due to the sketchy nature of the lines and the rough texture of the medium. For the green hand, it appears that someone experimented with the way the oil pastel was used such as on its side which creates a flatter fainter texture, they also used the medium conventionally creating thinner marks, in turn this adds variety to the drawing. As these were short quick sketches there isn't a lot of detail, but if longer time was given to improve ...
